LEAD VIRGINIA Alumni Survey
|
|
Recently
LEAD VIRGINIA
launched an alumni survey in an effort to ensure that we had the most
up-to-date information for our alumni, and to
help us with promoting the LEAD VIRGINIA program experience.
The survey also helped us gather information about what boards &
commissions our alumni are currently serving on, which in turn helped
us to quantify our alumni's level of involvement.
95 of our 253 alumni have completed the survey as of
February 10, 2011, for a total of 38%. Of those who completed the
survey, 81 alumni currently serve in over 290 different boards and commissions,
ranging from local/state/federal government to professional, service,
education, health, and transportation.
If you have not yet done so, we strongly urge you to
please follow this link to
complete the alumni survey. If you have any questions, please do not
hesitate contacting Margaret Taylor, Director of Programs &
Alumni Relations (mtaylor@leadva.org).

Northern Virginia Alumni Gathering
|
|
The Northern Virginia alumni gathered together for a
happy hour event at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse on Tuesday, February 8,
2011. With five consecutive years of graduates through the LEAD VIRGINIA program,
Washington Gas generously offered to host the event for the alumni in
the area. Alumni from each of our six graduating classes, and one
from the new class of 2011, enjoyed a chance to reconnect over
delicious appetizers and wine.
A special thanks to Adrian Chapman '06 and Tanya Hudson
'10 with Washington Gas for hosting a wonderful event!

Adrian Chapman, '06, David Hunn, '10, Tim Sargeant,
